Goša RSC Ltd. exists for already 87 years as renowned manufacturer in Rolling Stock industry. From very modest beginnings Goša has grown into a company which had, at the end of 80’s, more than 11.000 employees.Until the end of 60’s, Goša delt with manufacturing of passenger coaches, as well as, freight wagons, trams, and special refrigerator wagons, tank wagons, and other wagons. The establishment of SFRY decided, at the end of 60’s, to devide the Rolling Stock industry activity between some factories in the state. So, Goša got the manufacture of passenger coaches and special wagons.
The factory survived crises of 90’s and met the privatization which happened in February 2007. Goša is entirely owned by ŽOS Trnava, a.s. from Slovakia which is also the major owner of ŽOS Zvolen a.s. which is also from Slovakia. The main company’s manufacturing programme became the production of freight wagons and passenger coaches of various types and bogies Y25 for freight wagons.
The company constantly expands its manufacturing and technological capacities. Starting from the privatization the new owner invested remarkable assets in technological infrastructure, renovation of some workshops, building warehouses, refreshing of the information system and, at the same time, in people by variuos trainings and employment of new stuff.
The activities in the sense of development are carefully and tacticly coordinated and planed because sinergy of all three companies of our joint venture allow us to offer wide spectrum of services, manufacture, repairs, modernization and revision of rolling stock vehicles except the production of new locomotives.
